"Hello! My name is Cindy Harris. I have always loved animals and grew up with a sheepdog and many sets of gerbils. I got my first bonded pair of rabbits 8 years ago and they had two litters. We kept the babies and had a family of 5 for many years. They lived in our garage — set up with heating pads for the winter and air conditioning for the summer (we referred to it as The Ritz Carlton for Bunnies) and they enjoyed free roam of our fenced in backyard. I have experience taking care of bunnies that live indoor or outdoors. I often babysit my friend’s Lop named Alvin who follows me around the house like a puppy dog and adores his time here (he shows it with lots of binkies and zooms plus grooming us humans). I have a quiet, calm, safe home for babysitting any pet. There are no animals living inside my home, so your pet will be the prince/princess here while you’re away and can free roam the house or stay in a room with an enclosure specifically set aside for him/her. I will take care of your fur baby or your bonded pair like they’re my own. I easily bond with rabbits and understand their need to feel safe, dietary needs, dispositions, and even how to help them out of GI Stasis. Like many animal lovers, I am a highly sensitive person. I love nature, Zumba and weight training, reading, writing, music, travel, languages, and cooking. I live with my husband and two daughters (ages 18 and 22). My husband and I both work at home so there is always someone around to check on a pet and provide company.
